This is no longer a vacation. It's a quest. It's a quest for fun. I'm gonna have fun and you're gonna have fun.

Lake Powell! Land of quiet beauty and wonder! (Not of pirate booty and plunder, like we mistakenly thought) We had a lot of fun . . . again! We went with Dave and Laura, their daughter - Tiffany, and her husband, Tyson. We also had Laura's sister, Sara, and her husband and 2 of her sons. And then there was Taylor and Danielle. They're just related to Dave and Laura somehow. Either that or they were very entertaining stow-aways.
As you can see, we got a killer spot for the houseboat--only 5 hours of direct, beating sunlight (11am - 4pm) . Then we were in the shade the rest of the night. It's really nice considering that it's 95 degrees outside and no breeze. And, yes, Mom--that means that I slept in until the sun rose. I hear that there is alleged "glass" water in the early mornings at Lake Powell, but I've never seen it.

Don't worry--we got a lot of activities in, even though most of the trip was suntanning and sleeping.
wakeboarding!!
Water-weenie-ing!
Posing!
Hiking!
Mooning!
Oh, what's this? Well, someone has to hold the orange flag and take pictures . . . .

So, it should be said that it was just an amazing time, relaxing week and both of us wish that we never had to go back to work. But, it was fun coming back home and seeing the little Harley-kins.

Also, my brother borrowed the Honda that week because he was watching her for us and staying at our condo. As soon as we go to pick up the Honda from my parents house, and hit the high speeds of Ironton Road . . . *Kablooey!* our tire explodes. I skillfully pulled the car to the side of the road--never fear. So, either Tim was plotting our demise through a carefully plotted sabotague . . . or he's just a really, really lucky guy!

Next time, you're going to have to either bring me with you, or leave your car with ME instead of Tim.
