So the week leading up to Christmas, both Brady and I didn't have to work--which was just simply splendid! We go to sleep in, go out to breakfast, watch movies in bed all day....doing Christmas activities at night, we were having a lot of fun!

| Grace has really been enjoying all this time that she has been able to spend with Mom & Dad |
Over this Christmas break, Mary was in town with her little cutesy, Noah, and she gave Brady his Christmas present from Jared. Here is Brady, donning his lovely Santa apron. He was very excited to wear it to his next catering event.
On Christmas Eve, we combined a few traditions. I like going to a movie on Christmas Eve--especially if there is a Christmas movie that is out. This year, I was so excited to go see Arthur Christmas, but I patiently waited until Christmas Eve. What a CUTE movie! We had a really great time. The whole Greenhalgh clan went. After the movie, we got some lunch at Chili's:
And then afterwards we did the Greenhalgh Family tradition of going miniature golfing. It wasn't busy, so we were pretty glad for that. Brady had the pleasure of wearing Grace in the Baby Bjorn while he golfed. And, no, he did not get any handicap for that.
| If anything, she may have improved his game. |
After golfing, we played a few video games while the parents went home to nap and prepare for that evening's Christmas events.
| Grace listened intently while Grandpa Greenhalgh read Twas the Night Before Christmas. |

| All of us in our new Christmas pajamas! |
Christmas morning was great! First of all, we didn't wake up at 4am--hallelujah. I woke up at 5:30, the usual time I wake up to feed Grace. We fed her and then left for the Greenhalgh house. We got there at 6:30, which was perfect. Everyone was in such a delightful mood, as you can see by Kay Kay's happy expression:
Grace got her first Brady & Carol Greenhalgh family tradition gift--an ornament in her stocking. Every year, Santa will bring an ornament that we will write her name on, and the year, so that she can have her own tree ornaments to take with her when she has her own family.
| Obviously, she is thrilled. Probably wasn't happy that it was just an ornament and not a toy. |
| She hasn't had any toys before Christmas...just a few that we got from the shower, so this was quite the day for her! |
| She clearly has gotten present overload! |
| Grace got a present from Grandma Greenhalgh that has her voice recorded book of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. |
| After opening presents, we all settled down to watch a Christmas movie while Brady and I made a Christmas breakfast |
| Gracie's First Christmas! |
After spending the morning with the Greenhalgh family, we stopped by Springville to say hello to the Call Family. It's pretty obvious that my Mom and Dad know that style and fashion are super important to me...hence why they bought Grace these sunglasses so she can keep up with her groovy mom:
| Tim thought they would help with his style problems. They did not. |
| Grace loves her Grandpa |
| Harley also wanted a shot at being hot. |
Christmas was amazing, we had a fabulous time and it was even better because we got to share it with our adorable little Gracie. We wish you and yours had the best Christmas ever!
