So, lots of activities the days leading up to Christmas. 1st--we went to
Festival of Lights. This is my favorite light show in Utah, way better than Thanksgiving Point. It just has some totally random lights and then they always try to add in one or two news ones for the year. We were trying to wait for it to snow, but since it doesn't look like that is ever happening, we just decided to go. Good idea--going on a Tuesday night. Bad idea--waking up your baby to look at the lights.

| She loves waking up to look at things she doesn't understand |
| Still not getting the magic |
| Kind of liked the castle, which makes me think she will follow in the footsteps of Princess Grace Kelly! |
| Waving at the baby Jesus. |
| She was just making sure I took a picture of the Nativity. |
| Still unamused |

Oh well, I had fun! And we got to see Santa's reindeer fly

Our next adventure was going to a friend Christmas party over at the Lignell's. It was a lot of fun...we had some delicious dinnter, so waaaaay delicious hot chocolate and then opened white elephant gifts. I thought white elephant gifts were supposed to be junk lying around your house--but this party was filled with ritzy items:
First, we rolled the dice and you got to pick a present to open if you rolled a 6. Once all the presents were open, we started a timer for 5 minutes. If you rolled a 6, you could switch white elephants gifts with someone else. Once the timer ended, you had to keep what you had.

| Elliot was thrilled with his customized painting. |
| Kristin couldn't wait to snuggle up to a cozy fireplace with her Donny Osmond T-shirt , pink boa, and trashy romance novel. |
| One of these is not like the other....obviously Natalie fell in love with her gift |
| Men with their babies. So cute. |
